(Studio) Colorado congress campaign looked at.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner

(Denver, Colorado) Gary Hart running for Senator, but campaign plagued by his involvement in `72 McGovern presidential campaign. [HART - runs own race now and people must reach own conclusions with regard to his worthiness for seat.] Republican Senator Peter Dominick tries for 3rd consecutive bid to Congress Dominick's extremely close association with Richard Nixon causes problems for campaign. [DOMINICK - admits Watergate causing some problems in his campaign. States he had no connection with Watergate.] Other issues affecting campaign discussed. [HART - says public confidence must be restored in government] [DOMINICK - thinks centralized government to cause bad problems for US.]
