(Miami, Florida) Eastern Air Lines and flight attendants reported reaching tentative contract agreement, averting threatened strike. [National Mediation Bd. spokesperson Walter WALLACE - announces settlement.] [Transport Workers Union spokesperson Patricia FINK - feels contract is at attendants' sacrifice.] Details of new contract outlined on screen, discussed. [Eastern president Frank BORMAN - announces agreement.] Eastern thought asking all employees to eventually make concessions to avoid bankruptcy. [BORMAN - declines comment on problems.] Extent of Eastern's financial problems considered.
