(Miami, Florida) Eastern's labor and economy problems examined; films shown. Eastern chairperson Frank Borman noted attending negotiations today. [BORMAN - cites need for rapid agreement with flight attendants.] Implications of Borman's appearance at talks considered; 4 Miami cruise lines said canceling major bookings with Eastern during October due to uncertainty surrounding airline's future. [Carnival Cruise Line president Micky ARISON - explains prudent decisions.] Substantial slump in Eastern ticket sales during labor unrest noted. [Flight attendants' union spokesperson Patricia FINK - claims no progress in talks.] Airline's quarterly financial report said released tomorrow.
