(Dallas, Texas) Lenell Geter reported freed on bond today pending new trial; his arrest, conviction and life sentence for robbery he claims he didn't commit recalled. Background to Geter's ordeal explained. [GETER - is happy.] "60 Minutes"' examination of Geter's case mentioned. Geter's former co-workers, providing alibi for him at time of robbery, noted posting his bond today. [GETER - thinks judicial system in Texas worked only because media forced it.] Dist. attorney noted pledging to drop chgs. if Geter passes polygraph test.
