(DC) Fired Environmental Protection Agency official Rita Lavelle reported refusing to appear on Capitol Hill for questioning about her role in agency and possible conflict of interest chgs. in association with her handling of toxic waste site cleanup funds. [Representative John DINGELL - wants to question Lavelle.] Implications of Lavelle's daily calendar discussed; White House refusal to supply documents noted. [Last night, President REAGAN - will no longer exist on executive privilege.] White House official said claiming right to executive privilege today; apparent reversal of President's decision discussed.
