(DC) President aide's belief that Reagan will call for enlarged United States military presence in region outlined on screen, discussed; President `s call for bipartisan approach to funding El Salvador cited. [Senator Howard BAKER - notes continuing unrest in region.] [Secretary of State George SHULTZ - implies domino theory as pertaining to El Salvador.] [Senator Christopher DODD - believes further aid is irresponsible.] Salvadoran opposition leader reported announcing temporary cease-fire by rebels during Pope John Paul II's upcoming visit there as well as renewing call for negotiations; administration noted remaining opposed to negotiations.
