(Studio) President Reagan reported pressuring Israel to withdraw from Lebanon.

(DC) [REAGAN - believes Israel is delaying withdrawal unnecessarily; notes Lebanese government's request that all foreign forces leave.] Ambassador Philip Habib mentioned returning to Mideast with new peace plan. [REAGAN - is willing to supply more multintl. forces if necessary.] Israeli commission investigating massacre of Palestinians in Beirut noted issuing its report tomorrow; importance of timing in Reagan's Mideast peace plan considered.
