(Studio) Report on Kentucky Senate race between Governor Wendell Ford and Senator Marlow Cook.

(Kentucky) Incumbent Cook fighting to keep seat. [COOK - says campaigned hard against man who declines public debates.] [FORD - says if he took one, he'd have to take all debates, so turned all down. Says opponent just trying to divert people's attention from his lack of leadership] Ford running hard. He visits beauty parlor. [FORD - describes names Cook's called him in public. Quips about President Ford comparing him to Secretariat.] Cook worried about apathy; Ford about overconfidence.
