(Rome, Italy) Cntry. falling apart. [SPKR. - says nobody wants to follow rules.] Italy nearly bankrupt, but lost $142 million from strikes. Protests and terrorist acts abound. [2nd SPKR. - says change needed. Nothing goes well.] Inflation twice as bad as US. Av. salary less than $300 month Fiat auto industry declining. 55,000 workers on 3-day week [SPKR. - says same percentage in every election.] Many Italians against working relship. with Communists, who have 25% of vote.
