(Newport, Rhode Island) United States boats Liberty, skippered by Dennis Conner, Courageous with captain John Kolius, and Challenger with Tom Blackaller discussed. [CONNER - praises crew.] [BLACKALLER, KOLIUS - don't believe Connor is unstopable.] Rel. between Conner and Blackaller and their different styles of leadership noted. [BLACKALLER, CONNER - dismiss each other.] Australia II's race record so far noted; assessment of its chances in America's Cup by Liberty's navigator outlined.
