(Santiago, Chile) Anti-government riots here today as civil unrest over dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet continues examined; films shown. Police attacks on nonviolent demonstrators shown, discussed; number killed by government forces during protests in recent months recalled. Interior minister Sergio Onofre Jarpa's claim that Pinochet won't resign despite increasing public opposition to his refusal to restore democracy noted. Government noted trying to blame communists for civil unrest. [Christian Democratic party spokesperson Gabriel VALDEZ - claims nation wants freedom and democracy, not communists.] Concern over Chile's immediate future noted.
