(Calvin Canal, England) [Ken ELLERTON - believes canals should be saved.] Original purpose of canals discussed. Active canal restoration began 7-8 years ago, usually by volunteers. [Engineer Arland SHAWE-TAYLOR - says he's canal enthusiast.] [Frank MIDDLETON - knows canal restoration to be worthwhile.]
