(Miami, Florida) Last night's assassination of Colombia's justice minister Rodrigo Lara Bonilla in Bogota and implications for Colombia's drug war examined; Lara's assault on major drug syndicates recalled. Films shown. Joint United States-Colombian drug raid in March on important cocaine operation reviewed. President Belisario Betancur's suspension of constitutional rights, declaration of war on drug traffickers this morning announced. Govt.'s state of siege said both response to Lara's murder and incrd. terrorism by guerrillas believed allied with drug traffickers.
