(DC) H.R. Haldeman and other defendants must wait. Haldeman faces up to 25 years John Ehrlichman reads paper; talks to wife. John Mitchell smokes pipe. Robert Mardian does crossword puzzle; wife crochets. Ken. Parkinson reads, then writes. Foreman John Hoffar requests some tapes by note. Judge John Sirica sends note requesting classification. Hoffar's 2 reply notes shown. Jurors eat lunch at hotel. No longer permitted alcohol or evenings out. Bus route takes them past Watergate. Tactics to get jury's mind on case and force verdict.
