(DC) Critics' charge that NRC has covered up unusually high cancer rate in Pennsylvania area surrounding Three Mile Island nuclear power plant since 1979 accident there examined. [Concerned Citizens of TMI spokesperson Marjory AAMODT, Norman AAMODT - cite statistics; accuse NRC of conscious cover-up.] NRC response quoted on screen; court-appointed advisory board reported discovering abnormally high cancer death rate in community. [Bd. spokesperson Thomas COCHRAN - doubts cancer rate is related to accident, but feels NRC owes community an explanation.] Some NRC investigators mentioned calling for legitimate inquiry; details given.
