[Investigation committee chairperson William BROWN - explains focus of inquiry.] Mayor Wilson Goode recalled initially taking responsibility and later deviating from that position. [July, GOODE - believes police must assume responsibility.] [Fraternal Order of Police spokesperson Robert HURST - warns Goode of political bloodbath if he tries to use police as scapegoats.] [PEOPLE - criticize level of rhetoric; are concerned with their homes.]
