(DC) State Department reported announcing Pentagon team's return to Laos to search for American MIAs there. [Department spokesperson Bernard KALB - announces schedule for excavations.] Details of joint Laotian-US mission discussed; those still designated as missing from December 1972 plane crash in Laos listed on screen. [Survivor sergeant Carl STEVENS - recalls incident.] [National League of Families spokesperson Ann GRIFFIThigh school - hopes mission will lead to other government-to-government crash site efforts.] Similar agreement said under negotiation with Vietnam; number listed as MIA (missing in action) there noted.
