Background to her efforts to seek protection at shelter for battered women and husband's violence reviewed. [Domestic Violence Coalition spokesperson Mary Ann GANEY - fears such killings will recur.] Protest at Campbell's funeral today over lack of protection for battered women noted. [Police chief Fred RAINGUET, Junior - agrees current laws don't protect battered wives.]
