(Studio) Tennessee begins drive to update list of eligible persons for welfare money under aid to dependent children program. Persons must appear to pick up checks and validate lists.

[Memphis diocese Sister Mary Ann GUTHRIE - thinks program dehumanizing.] [Civil rights activist Cornelia CRENSHAW - believes Friend uses situation to advance himself politically.] [FRIEND - thinks drive is 1st step in validating rolls.]
