(Studio) Step taken in effort to meet Patricia Hearst's kidnappers' demands. Lawyers for 2 members of Symbionese Liberation Army, jailed on murder charges, formulate plan for members to make statement on national TV.

(San Francisco, California) Russell Little and Joseph Remiro agree to make statement. [Defense attorney William E. GAGEN - supports national television appearance.] In last tape message from Patricia, she accuses her family of not caring. [Fiance, Steven WEED - understands Patricia's point of view, although it's likely she is reading something someone else wrote.] However, Patricia not coerced into reading statement, in fiance's opinion.
