(Studio) At request of President' attorney, James Saint Clair, special prosecutor Leon Jaworski extends subpoena deadline.

(White House) White House spokesperson Ron Ziegler says White House requested delay to evaluate Jaworski's subpoena. Ziegler also suggests compromise possible between President and Peter Rodino's House Judiciary Committee; 42 tapes and documents requested by committee President stages formal signing ceremony today; S. Senators and Congmen. invited. Conservative Senators James Eastland and John Stennis breakfast with President earlier.
