(Studio) Special election in Illinois 13th Congress district to fill seat of head of OEO, Don. Rumsfeld.

(Chicago, Illinois) 13th District incls. wealthy suburbs and bastion of Republicans Conservative Philip Crane expected to win. Democrat Liberal, Edward Warman, thinks moderate Republicans would prefer him over conservative. [CRANE - feels Warman overlooking fact that all of us want war to be over. President has constructive way out.] [WARMAN - says supports President if sincere about getting troops out. Need them out quicker.] Results will show either support or criticism for President Nixon.
