(Studio: Dan Rather) Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger said to have appeared at Senate hearing and indications that United States would under certain conditions come to aid non-American ships in Persian Gulf. Weinberger said not to have specified which conditions he meant. Kuwaiti military buildup reported Iranian pilots said to be in China, (PR), learning to fly Chinese version of Soviet MiG-fighter. United States Navy confirming sending of 5 dolphins to find mines in Persian Gulf noted.
