[Chicago crime commission Patrick HEALY - discusses vicious history of the gang.] The Blackstone Rangers said now called El Rukn and led by Jeff Fort; details given, scenes shown. Fort said convicted for dealing drugs and orchestrated conspiracy from Texas prison through coded telephone calls sending members to Libya to impress Kadhafi with offering to kill Milwaukee city cnclman. Gang members being arrested when attempting to buy rocket launcher from FBI reported [Defense attorney Rick HALPRIN - discusses differences in selling drugs and terrorism.] El Rukn's assertion that they are persecuted Muslims who only wanted to renovate their mosque with loan from Kadhafi noted. [MBR. - says they do not deal drugs and are only practicing their religion.] [HEALY - disagrees.] Several jurors reported being dismissed after receiving threatening phone calls. Remaining jurors being heavily guarded noted.
