(DC: Phil Jones) Slight move toward agreement in budget summit reported [Representative Thomas FOLEY - says broad ideas have been agreed upon.] Deficit reductions graphically shown. [Senator Robert DOLE - says something needs to be done about the deficit.] President Reagan's not being willing to compromise noted. [REAGAN - says they are looking for an excuse for having created these deficits.] [Senator Alan CRANSTON - comments on President Reagan's attitude.] [Representative Trent LOTT - says Democrats are lying.] The proposed amount of reductions said will not be enough.
