(Studio) SLA cause confusing. SLA took credit for killing school superintendent Marcus Foster, but Foster spent much time helping poor, black, and underprivileged.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner

(Oakland, California) [Acting school superintendent Robert BLACKBURN - praises Foster's life.] Blackburn also critically wounded during attack on Foster. [BLACKBURN - feels saddened by SLA action.] Free food program ordered by SLA soon after Foster death. Oakland schools believe they're better now because of Marcus Foster. [BLACKBURN - believes Foster helped build self-esteem in poor and blacks. Such a contribution more important than food program.]
