Communications (IBC) owner Richard Miller reported pleading guilty to special prosecutor Lawrence Walsh's indictment for criminal tax fraud conspiracy stemming from his role with convicted conspirator Carl Spitz Channell in Iran arms scheme; Colonel Oliver North noted named as co-conspirator by both defs. [Deputy independent cnsl. David ZORNOW - cites Miller's admission of guilt with North.] Miller said expected to testify about case in addition to North's alleged efforts to interfere with FBI investigation of Iranian con man and David Fischer's role.
