[HAKIM - claims life insurance fund was unknown to North and that he believed their operation was approved by and at the request of President Reagan.] Investigators' reaction to assistant secretary state Elliott Abrams' testimony noted. [Senator David BOREN - calls for Abrams' resignation.] [Representative Jack BROOKS - attacks Abrams as incompetent, deceptive or uninformed by administration] [ABRAMS - responds.] [BROOKS - comments.]
