(Des Moines, Iowa: Eric Engberg) "Washington Post" story questioning of fin. links between Senator Robert Dole's and government contractor reported; details given on screen. [DOLE - says has no knowledge of it.] Dole staff member Mike Pettit reported lobbying Small Business Administration for EDP Enterprises, Incorporated, company headed by former Dole staffer. [Representative John LaFALCE - says contract was unusual.] EDP Enterprises reported paying consulting fees to Dole staffer David Owen, who was fin. advisor to Elizabeth Dole's blind trust; recent resignation of Owen as head on Dole's campaign operation recalled. [Dole's press secretary Walt RIKER - says story is a Dave Owen story, not a Dole story.]
