(Capitol Hill) In 1971, President announced higher price supports one day after dairy industry had pledged $2 million to President's campaign and actually raised $25,000. Committee hears tape of President talking with milk producers. [Representative Lawrence HOGAN - believes President listened to milk producers and made straight-forward decision about incring. price supports.] [Representative Joshua EILBERG - says no specific mention of money made on tape.] Many mbrs. believe Congress forced President to approve price supports.
