(Studio) Senator Edward Gurney indicted on charges of influence peddling. Gurney's pol. future in doubt.

(Miami, Florida) While serving as Senate Watergate committee mbr., Gurney was President' staunchest defender. [Republican cmteman. Mike THOMPSON - believes if Gurney considers state polls, he may not run for office again.] [GOP county chairperson Bob ROSASCO - doesn't think Gurney can win general election in November] Congman. Lou Fry considers running for Senator, as does public service commission representative Paula Hawkins. [HAWKINS - doesn't think Gurney has much of a chance, but believes her chances are bright.]
