(DC: Rita Braver) Judge Gerhard Gesell reported examining whether or not Oliver North will be given fair trial due to problems with classified documents needed for his defense Issue noted arising during testimony of North's former aide, Robert Owen; details given. [Christic Institution spokesperson Lanny SINKIN - says these classified documents were used in case last year in Florida.] Prosecutor and security ofr. noted indicating that they were aware that documents had been used publicly; Judge Gesell reported declassifying memos. [OWEN - comments on trial.] Gesell noted deciding if trial can continue or if charges against North will be dropped. (Artist: Don Juhlin)
