(Studio) Agriculture Department reports crop forecast. Drought causes drop in corn; 12% drop over 1973.

(Iowa) Dying corn shown. Sorghum grain down 34%. Feed grain down 15%. Soft beans down 16%. Wheat up 8%.

(DC) [Econ. Dawson AHALT - says drought won't affect crops on production line.] Corn prices expected to rise. Prices to increase in 1975 due to cutbacks in poultry, pork, and beef production.
