[Staten Island Borough president Guy MOLINARI - says port here was designed for USS Iowa.] [Naval analyst Norman FRIEDMAN - says Navy is making a mistake in mothballing these ships.] USS New Jersey's role in Lebanon in 1983 recalled. [On December 11, 1989, USS Iowa Captain Fred MOOSALLY - comments on gun turret explosion.] Moosally noted retiring from Navy.
