(Studio) Some rain falls in Mid. West, but farmers say it's too late to help crops affected by drought.

(Grimes, Iowa) In normal year, Beaver Valley Canning Company would be experiencing busy season, but because of drought, corn supply cut in 1/2. [Canning company Bruce HOWE - says production level 1/2 of last year's.] Retail prices for canned goods expected to rise. Damaged corn field shown. [Farmer Lewis BAER - discusses year s problems with corn crop.]
