REPORTER: Harry Reasoner
(London, England) British television reports with regard to United States situation shown European news'- papers critical of Nixon. [MAN - says clear this type of thing can't get by, if he resigns.] [WOMAN - talks of it hurting West point of world.] [2nd MAN - says hasn't done American image any good.] Dollar gained in value, as President went down. Reporter cites recent political upheavals in Eng. and, France, West Germany, Portugal, and Greece.
