(Moscow: Barry Petersen) Lithuania's elections and push for independence featured. [Independence movement leader Algimantas CEKUOLIS - says it's the first real democracy in 50 years.] [BRAZAUSKAS - (thru translator) says what matters is that we are all heading in the same direction.] Push for freedom throughout the Baltics examined; scenes shown from Estonia and Latvia. Plans for pro-democracy protests across USSR tomorrow noted; scenes shown from Soviet television of officials asking Soviet citizens for calm.
