(Bucharest: Tom Fenton) Reluctance in Romania to throw out the old Communist system on the eve of elections examined; details given of continued political success of former Communist hard-liners, such as interim President Ion Iliescu, who is favored to win election; scenes shown of protests in Bucharest, Romania, calling for end to Communism. [ROMANIAN - repeats Iliescu is a Communist, is a Communist.] Examples of Communist misrule during regime of late dictator Nicolae Ceausescu cited.
