(Studio) Poet, Allen Ginsberg, testifies.
REPORTER: Frank Reynolds
(Chicago, Illinois) Ginsberg recites poetry and chants "om om." Defense tries to show, through him, that police caused violence. United States Attorney Thomas Foran asks Judge Julius Hoffman to stop Ginsberg's repeated "oms." Defense Attorney Leonard Weinglass asks why Defense can't show technique for quieting demonstrators. Foran says doesn't want to hear "oms" all a.m. Ginsberg tries to calm Judge, Attorney William Kunstler, and Foran's argument with "om."
