(Washington: Rita Braver) Federal banking regulators reported declaring that President's son Neil Bush engaged in conflicts of interest as director of failed Silverado Savings and Loan. [Office of Thrift Supervision Timothy RYAN - has no comment.] Ryan noted ordering Bush to cease and desist from any future unsafe or unsound practices. [On July 10, 1990, BUSH; Representatives Bruce VENTO, Joseph KENNEDY - comment.] Civil suit and federal fraud investigation against Silverado noted still pending.
