(Kennebunkport, ME: Randall Pinkston) Criticism by President Bush of the Senate for delaying the hearings on nomination of Robert Gates to head the CIA while the Intelligence Committee examines what Gates knew about the Iran\Contra affair featured. [BUSH - says there are only rumors and insinuations.] The Iran\Contra prosecutor said now having tapes of conversations between CIA headquarters and field agents that may shed light on Oliver North's secret arms network to Nicaraguan rebels. [BUSH - says there is no evidence against Gates.] [Senator David BOREN - responds.]
