(Studio) Jane Alpert recently surrendered after years of hiding out; committed terrorist acts during anti-Vietnam war days. Alpert begins serving 27 month sentence today.

(NYC) In November 1969, 4 persons arrested for conspiracy incling. Sam Melville and Jane Alpert. [ALPERT - says her terrorist actions now horrify her.] Soon after Jane's arrest, she jumped bail, spending next 4 1/2 years living as fugitive. [ALPERT - says life as fugitive like being in prison. Admits she's very sorry now for what happened and is prepared to accept penalty.]
