Israelis' and Palestinians' tough talk on the peace conference and Shamir's hope that the Palestinians will say no to the conference reported.

(Studio: Dan Rather) Anchor acknowledges sound problems, then wrongly describes pictures that were shown as those of Secretary of State James Baker with Jordan's King Hussein, who is urging the Palestinians to get to the conference table.
