(Moscow: Jonathan Sanders) Bloody siege in Tbilisi, Georgia, resulting in victory for those opposed to President Zviad Gamsakurdia featured; scenes shown. Gamsakurdia said to have fled overnight; scenes shown of him in the parliament building where he was holed up. [Last week, GAMSAKURDIA - talks about opposition.] [Human rights activist Yuri ORLOV - talks about Georgian political prisoners.] Former Soviet foreign minister Eduard Shevardnadze reported saying he is ready to help the Georgians restore democracy. Georgia noted virtually the last republic refusing to join the commonwealth.
