(Pentagon: David Martin) Turning over to the United States by Vietnam of documents pertaining to American MIAs featured; scenes shown of retired General John Vessey and Senator John McCain with Vietnamese officials. [McCAIN - says many MIA (missing in action) cases can now be solved.] Researcher Ted Schweitzer recalled turning over to the Pentagon pictures of dead Americans, which led eventually to Secretary of Defense Dick Cheney and Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger confronting Vietnam's foreign minister. [Wife of MIA (missing in action) pilot Barbara ROBERTSON - cites Vietnam's history of lying.] MIAs Joseph Morrison and San Dewayne Francisco noted now proven dead.
