(Dallas: Scott Pelley) Landmark case in which a woman won a lawsuit in which she claimed the drug Halcion drove her husband William Freeman to murder his best friend featured; jury decision finding the Upjohn Company negligent noted. [Plaintiff Martha FREEMAN, Freeman attorney Randy JOHNSON, juror Carolyn ARNOLD, Upjohn attorney Richard JOSEPHSON - comment on the verdict.] Statement from Upjohn referring to the FDA's support of Halcion quoted. The civil decision said having no impact on Bill Freeman's sentence.
