Mtg. held at 14th century hunting lodge. President Ford to try to persuade French President Valery Giscard d`Estaing and others to hang together and deprive oil cartel of power to set prices. Chancellor Helmut Schmidt led discussion on dangers of inflation and recession. Inflation 26% in Britain; they want trade expanded. Officials dine together. Mtg.'s purpose is to build confidence among cntrys. and with their constituents.
