(Studio) Mennonite farmer in Pennsylvania goes to court in case with regard to church rights, individual rights.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner
(Carlisle, Pennsylvania) Robert Bear family involved. Bear excommunicated by church due to his criticism. Wife, children ordered to "shun" him. [BEAR - speaks of experience.] Bear sues church for interference. Farm also has suffered. [Attorney William BALL - explains church stance.] 2 questions raised: religious freedom, rights of individual. United States Supreme Court may have to decide.
