(At the Treasury Department: Scott Pelley) Treasury Department report on the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms raid on the Branch Davidian cult compound in Waco, Texas, featured; scenes shown of the February raid; criticism of the ATF's handling of the raid detailed. [Treasury Secretary Lloyd BENTSEN, assistant Treasury Secretary Ron NOBLE - comment on the findings.] [In March, ATF's Dan CONROY - comments.] Possible criminal prosecution of some ATF agents who lied noted.

(Studio: Dan Rather) ATF recalled originally going to the cult compound because of reports that David Koresh and his followers had illegal arms.
