(Tel Aviv: Bob Simon) The peace agreement between Israel and the PLO, which have recognized each other, featured; the agreement in which Israel will begin pulling troops out of the occupied West Bank and Gaza while PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Yasir Arafat will call on the Palestinians to refrain from violence. [Israeli cabinet members Benjamin BEN-ELIEZER, Shulamit ALONI - talk about peace with the PLO.] The unresolved questions of a Palestinian state, the Palestinian refugees, the Israeli settlements in the territories and the future for Jerusalem reviewed.

(White House: Rita Braver) The United States role in the Middle East peace agreement featured. [In Cleveland, President CLINTON - talks about the peace agreement.] Clinton's statement about the secret talks between Israel and the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) and the potential for US involvement in the process noted.
